ACT 1

1.   Swiss Mountain RAELL' s village  EXT   morning

 .

To host his workshop members RAELL' S  ANGELS are awaiting the arrival of the international train at their exclusive train station which is signified by an official CORPORATE SIGN: Raell' s Mountain . All over the mountain lane that leads to Raell' s CASTLE, ( young ) females are visible in their typical Raell dress code :  bare breasted  ( top - less  ) but furthermore well and elegantly dressed to the cool mountain air .

2          International TRAIN       INT morning

Although Professor Van Hessen is locked up in his computer through a pair of WIRELESS HEADPHONES , he is also preparing to leave the train.

                             TRAIN SOUND SYSTEM

In a few minutes we will have arrived at Raell' s Mountain. On behalf of our train company we like to wish all of His visitors a pleasant stay. Ladies and Gentlemen in a few minutes we have arrived at Raell' s Mountain.

Professor van Hessen takes a last look at his Raell  FOLDER before he carefully folds it and puts it away with his laptop computer in his briefcase and walks over to the train doorway. The train has almost stopped.

3 Swiss Mountain RAELL' s village   EXT    morning

A strong Angel takes Van Hessen' s suitcase as he steps down the platform.

                       VAN HESSEN

Whilst taking of his wireless headphones which are now softly producing an indistinct cabling sound of synthetic speech,

                                   ( mumbling )

Right. Im not ' obliged ' to feed Raell's angels or             take any other specific interest .

                       ANGEL

Professor Van Hessen ?

                       VAN HESSEN

                       ( inhales )

Yes.

            ANGEL

            ( gestures with chin )

Welcome to Raell 's Mountain. You may follow as you wish .

Van Hessen follows the Angels ascending the mountain path towards the Castle. As every Angel (unit) offers a special gift to Van Hessen they proceed slowly.

4. Raell' s Castle Workshop space     INT morning

The middle aged captain of industry Eckhart is all set up for his training. He is prepared to be the Oak Tree of Wisdom in the famous opening story of the Old Testament (; Genesis in a treatment of Vondel's ADAM in Exile ) .

                                   RAELL

Snake or Penis or Friendship with Time and the First Female are one. By eating your fruit she takes over Adam's senses and forces him into her trick of reason. Ultimately we come to understand that God ascends from a female.  Remember what we are all doing this for ?

                             EKHART

                          (in trance)

We are resetting our corporate identity

back into the pre Christian Paradise . By being the Tree of Wisdom I get the chance to reunite with Eve.

                        RAELL

But don't forget we are after human regressions and transgressions too. Falling out of your role is good for the present.  Cogito ergo Boom !

                  (turns his head and calls)

Venus !

Just when Angel VENUS DESCENDS to embrace with and eat from the oak tree of wisdom, the studio door opens and Professor van Hessen quietly enters the space. With one soft sweep on his impressive TOUCH SCREEN COCK PIT PANEL Raell puts Van Hessen' s wifi on speakers.

VAN HESSEN' S HEADPHONES ON SUPER SURROUND SOUND

                        ( synthetic speech )

Physiognomics, a trend amongst painters in Renascent Italy around 1436, to see animals in humans. With the human genome project a whole new elitist breed of social human beings have come to existence by exchanging the pace and perception needed for model painting with the new sciences of radio laboratories.

                              RAELL

                        ( yells )

AH ! Good stuff. Something like the new Da Vinci code. What is it ?

                              VAN HESSEN

(switching of his headphones , looking exhausted )

Some young female we invited once to a student project . Ever since she is using the deconstruction of her science fiction novel to communicate with me .  With us, I mean.

                             RAELL

Fascinating. Good work. And a warm welcome to MOM : The Museum of Modern Management .

                        VAN  HESSEN

Hall o Raell . I see we have started already.

Eckhart bound to his chair with ropes signifying his tree roots, is read headed and flushed by transpiration whilst  Venus does a lap dance and softly bites his cheeks for apples.

                             ECKHART

     O O

                             RAELL

That's right. No speech. We don't want old fashioned situations. But apples are hard, that's for sure.

( to Van Hessen )

Let's put on some more of ..

What is the name of your source code ?

                        VAN HESSEN

Ingeborg Agnate Knauwen . Something like that.

                        RAELL

Excellent . Nobody at home will believe this. The rise of Ingeborg Anita Knowing.

                              SPEAKERS SOUND

                        (synthetic speech)

If you take words for particles the theory of nature science starts making sense. Quantum Gravity relates to the maturity of the user in language. Only the master can defy the bombing of semantic load and fly. And through his email travel with the speed of light.

                        ECKHART

O O

                        SPEAKERS SOUND

                        (synthetic speech)

Most of all : unity of thought matters. He who first is in the business of radio waves usually shall not switch easily to selling ice cream.

                                   ECKHART

                                         (sprouting)

WHAT ? ! Is this about me or something ? !

                               RAELL

Splendid . It's Venus in Verse.

                               VAN HESSEN

And one not too surprising attack of pure paranoia for the coolest people on earth : the captains of industry.

                              RAELL

                  (smiles)

Does Ingeborg work in a pure free fall of associations or do we have the honor to play with a good old fashioned academic.

                              VAN HESSEN

I have the feeling that footnotes will not be her closing event. I am convinced that the little lady confuses us with creative executives who someday will reward her with what they mostly need : technical equipment. I so much prefer an honest phone call from somebody who can honestly ask for what he needs :  money or equipment . Or a job for that matter.

                              RAELL

                  ( manipulating the sound)

But only internals would have a shot this way. I have advised you to put your mobile phone number out there on the internet to see if there's other fish in the sea. We need to realize that there's a spiritual edge on the computer business that we can not risk to miss.

                  SPEAKERS SOUND

                        (synthetic speech)

I come to propose Operation Flogiston.

Raell claps in his hands from joy.

                        SPEAKERS SOUND

                        (synthetic speech)

Operation Flogiston: the transport of the invisible particle. Four Yogi masters from the North, the East, the South and the West will reunite somewhere in Middle Earth to unload Flogiston.

Raell lowers the sound.

                             RAELL

Splendid imagery . Let's go for it.

VENUS softly lowers the chair man until he lies on his back with his knees and feet up. ECKHART folds his legs behind Venus her neck, she then releases the tree of knowledge from it's roots,  takes him in her arms and drags him over to a BUBBLE BATH.

                             ECKHART

VENUS softly rinses his hair with warm water.

                              RAELL

            ( whilst dialing )

Yes ? Is this the Maharaja of Mysore ?

5 SPLIT SCREEN of the video conference call showing THE MAHARAJA INT Morning

                       MAHARAJA

Krishna Raja Wadiyar the Fifth , speaking. Namaste Raell. What can I do for you ?

                       RAELL

I come to rapport a global network take over ? !   It's Operation Flogiston: the transport of the invisible particle ! Four Yoga masters from the North, the East, the South and the West will reunite in Middle Earth to unload Flogiston.

                             MAHARAJA

     O ? Is that so ?

                              RAELL

Yes, We need to mobilize your global patronage ! To make it happen.

                             MAHARAJA

I See. What is the budget ?

                        RAELL

It's a Dutch treat.

VAN HESSEN has switched position with Eckhart and is now being bound to the chair by two ANGELS.  He smiles at RAELL.

                             MAHARAJA

We're going Dutch ? MMM.

                         RAELL

Our source of inspiration is an independent market leader clustering the nations from cosmetics to human interest favoring a spiritual angle stretching from the Middle Ages to an edgy parlance of our very own time. We are awaiting commands .        Meanwhile ...

                                                 MAHARAJA

Meanwhile . 9.9 billion spliced into Rupees, Euro and Yankee Dollar ?

                                   RAELL

Somewhere assembling in Middle Earth : four Yoga Masters and their pupils. I will provide a Flogiston drawing and editing system. To visualize the invisible. All will be monitored and distributed from here. Fly over tickets are on the house.  Now all we need is an infrastructure as large as we can imagine it. Boys ?

Van Hessen has joined the BUBBLE BATH. He nods. Raell SWINGS the camera and connects THE BUBBLE BATH to the video conference.

                              VAN HESSEN

Internet Advertorials.

European High way control. Billboards every ten to fifty meters depending on the speed rate. Fuzzy about the national borders. Where it's troubled we are advised to work with local material.  A global guarantee though for Euroland.

                              ECKHART

Air Traffic Control of Video PR in all European airlines . All the European TV stations , their digital corpus spoken, plus the additional print media in the form of newspaper, TV guides, ladies and gentlemen's magazines and 3 D puppetry ; medical , life style, fashion and domestic robots.

                        RAELL

Fine. No Gambling machines !

See ? Campaigning is peanuts.

                        MAHARAJA

Krishnamacharya is traveling around India giving lectures and demonstrations . Pedro Menfesawe- Imani is exploring black yoga in Africa. Eskimo Yoga is not unheard of and the Wild West has converted long ago .

                        SPEAKERS SOUND

                        (synthetic speech)

In here we reconcile the introspection particle colliders are said to be made for, with the original human body of spiritual action.

                        RAELL

Justice shall be done. We will visualize the Divine and Everlasting Cosmos that shelters in all of us human mortals, and unite the community of spiritual Celestial beings.

The last soap is being rinsed from the Captains BALDING HEADS before Venus plants a KISS on them.

                                   RAELL

Tell me how you feel my dear fellows.

ECKHART

(whispers)

I'm seeing stars.

VAN HESSEN

Me too.

RAELL

That my dear Captains is Flogiston.

A sign from the Cosmos that we are interplanetary beings.

VAN HESSEN

I have always learned it is my diabetes .

Eckhart SHIVERS.

              ECKHART

We are getting blind.

              VAN HESSEN

I think it's time for our medication.

6    International TRAIN       INT evening

Both the captains of Industry are wiggling with the train's movements . Eckhart rosily watches the landscape passing by. Van Hessen takes out his tablet and starts to write. ECU of the I-PAD.

VAN HESSEN

( writes and mumbles his text)

Hi Ingeborg , nice to hear from you again. However ,

I am not quite sure what the purpose is !

Can you be more specific ?

ECKHART

Are you working on the project ?

Professor Van Hessen reluctantly hands over his I-pad.

ECKHART

(reads and nods)

Is this .. ?

VAN HESSEN

( nods )

Yes, that's her.

ECKHART

Say yes to human cloning .

VAN HESSEN

The end of classic leadership.

ECKHART

The beginning of something new.

VAN HESSEN

  Trusting protecting mirroring  your sources.

ECKHART

 P2P. Peer to Professor Technology.

After failing to direct culture ourselves.

VAN HESSEN

(sulks)

We are still leading her..

by sucking her out.

ECKHART

What do we know about yoga ?

VAN HESSEN

Hasn't it got something to do with improvisation ? We were forced to do workshops on that.

ECKHART

Improvisation ... and Yoga ?

To tell you the truth I have no idea.

Let's wait for instructions.

 VAN HESSEN

So, did you like the workshop at Raell's?

ECKHART

I don't know.

What I did come to understand, is that we have to increase the amount of women on the board.

VAN HESSEN

It's this goddamn creative industry.

ECKHART

And the Dutch global reputation...

VAN HESSEN

Most of the borders are virtual now.

ECKHART

Haunting and war will never be the same.

VAN HESSEN

No.

We have to be sweet and tough,

otherwise we're going to miss clients.

ECKHART

We have to transcend our great history of being warrior leaders and reset our love for the first female..

Or otherwise we will cease to exist and become extinct.

VAN HESSEN

(looks at his tablet and reads and mumbles)

"Anatomy as a fiction"

(changing the address, pushing mail forward to Raell )

Pure anarchy.

(his videophone rings)

7    Video Conference Screen RAELL INT evening

RAELL

What a great follow up!

(cheers whilst carefully punctuating)

" Technosomatics is a practice that consists of a collective and individual exploration of the endocrine glands and chakras through club dancing to techno music as wells as the opposite: an exploration of club dancing while embodying the endocrine glands and the chackras. It is practiced mostly with closed eyes, and in a pitch-dark room. It approaches mainstream anatomy as a fiction, emphasizing the experienced body. It is also proposing another kind of collective and social experience, different from a somatic class and from the dance floor. It offers a safe place for going under the social, being alone together and indulging in altered states of consciousness. "

Look :

(sweeps his camera to reveal HIS ANGELS exploring their ENDOCRINE GLANDS and CHAKRAS whilst moving indulgently on techno trance )

RAELL

The Maharaja is also delighted. He's looking forward to the Northern contribution of the Yoga competition.

Congratulations Captains .

The Dutch subsidiary system for the arts finally warps off it's hard earned fruits.

                             (giggles, coughs)

You can already start to alter your campaign :

" Philips, another way of looking at Care."

 Ok. Keep me posted !

(breaks the connection)

ECKHART

What do we do with your source ?

VAN HESSEN

(shows his tablet)

ECKHART

(reads )

" Dear client, the Philips Air Fryer is lining up for you.

Test it now and get the air fryer send to your home. We give you the possibility to test our new air fryer. With the unique rapid Air Technology of Philips, that lets you fry with hot air, your food becomes crispy from the outside while staying juicy from the inside.  Answer our questions and become the owner of the Philips air fryer. "

 VAN HESSEN

She's frying air. That's all she does.   "Invisible Particles" : Pff.

8 Amsterdam - Police Camera Bunker - City Center - INT Morning

.

Whilst Chief Inspector Nijenbrand routinely stares at the usual imagery of the city centre's eldest canals flooding with TOURISTS eating chocolate syrup covered PANCAKES , he ALSO receives a FAX saying: FALL IN I. HOUWEN 3592133 OUDEZIJDS VOORBURGWAL 230 B-4.

9 Amsterdam - Hotelroom Spies filming and tapping Ingeborg Houwen's Bedroom Studio - INT morning.

We see the writer sitting in front of the window, her desk filed with neat piles of Financial , Promotional, Creative and Court Cases, her tall body leaning ergonomically inconvenient over an I-book that is connected to a couple of cheap little speakers amplifying poorly " Alfi" of Burt Bacharach.

INGEBORG

(singing wholeheartedly whilst frantically typing)

" I know there's something much more

something even

SOUND of incoming mail.

                             INGEBORG

(reads)

" Dear Ingeborg Houwen, the Paraflow Festival has accepted your film plan proposal for their Utopia program. Good luck with organizing the Epigenetic Hospital in cooperation with the Dutch mental healthcare system, and the international Yoga Information Hospitality thriller. We will be glad to be hosting your output , offering our Tower as a set location. Let us know what we can do. Looking forward for further collaboration. Sincerely, Judith Feigl, Head Office Paraflow, Museum Platz 2 Vienna. "

INGEBORG cheers, fast forwards the message to Van Hessen and continues typing even more fast and inspired.

INGEBORG

(writing and vowing, not hearing the soft knocking on the door)

God has changed medium. She has dropped the word from her port folio. Today's language is written by human excrements. Piss watching therefore is being subsidized. Ours is the task to catch the ones staying behind. The classically inspired . We will install an epigenetic hospital and make an image of a Mountain of Fools. We will work with psychiatric hospitals and offer a workshop for God's lost children.  We will organize our play in the former Fight Tower of the Waffen SS, Museum Platz 2, Vienna. An excellent chance to commemorate contemporary right wing Dutch politics. We will unload Flogiston there and explore the notion of the neutronic bomb. While the building is still standing; will it's inhabitants have vanished ?

A young blank PREGNANT woman with her three young children are sneaking into the front of the bedroom studio, silently , to place a hand on Ingeborg's SHOULDER. The writer startles from her session and with a quirky motion of expression on her face looks behind.

INGEBORG

Japke … What an honorable surprise ..

JAPKE

Ingeborg, may I have a word with you please? I am here in the name of the board of our tenants commission. The Landlord wants you out. She has asked for support at the Council.

INGEBORG

I am an outstanding cultural entrepreneur . A classic start up.

JAPKE

You are behind with paying the rent for over 3 months now. They have faxed to the Council to de space you.

INGEBORG

Japke, I have lost my social security because I didn't except slavery work. A case which I've taken to Court.  My bookkeeper stopped doing my taxes because I didn't bring in any money from the international gallery world.  So now I have to start doing them my self.. Meanwhile I'm communicating my fund proposals to the industrial partners to keep the creative flow flowing.

What more can I do ?

JAPKE

I'm sorry to hear.

(rubs her belly)

I have to eat something now soon . So I shall not stay long. But I will phone your family to help you out. Is that ok?

INGEBORG

(nods)

I will print and go copy a financial report.

The PRINTER prints .

Ingeborg's Intimate Cultural Experience

Ingeborg neatly wraps up her papers in a suitcase, puts on cloths and shoes and grabs a coat .

10 Old City of Amsterdam - Pijlsteeg EXT Day

Ingeborg walks the alley towards the Dam Palace when she sees a mega BANNER rising, hanging top down from one of the churches at the Dam Square. It reveals the YOGA postures of Four ENLIGHTENED smiling MALES from different ethnic backgrounds with the words 'GLOBAL PHLOGISTON' and 'YOGA MASTERS' written over it. Ingeborg FREEZES and SHIVERS as she enters the exposition space of the extremely large picture.  She makes an ECU  (Extreme Close Up) and after that a total shot, with her Nokia N97, but then walks by it, on her way to her brother's house which is three blocks outside the city center.  She takes tram 5 in where there is no inspection and walks through the Vondelpark to Amsterdam West.

11 WILLEM'S HOUSE - EXT DAY

INGEBORG opens the door with a set of keys hanging on a keyring printed with the words UN of the United Nations.

12 WILLEM'S HOUSE - INT DAY

INGEBORG climbs the steep STAIRS all the way to the top of the building and then opens up the DOOR of Willem's apartment.

13 WILLEM'S APARTMENT - INT DAY

INGEBORG dives towards a huge REFRIGERATOR and starts to collect FOOD which she prepares on the oven, after she fixed it to be connected to the gas. She then packs out her suitcase and brings her document to a professionally looking COMPUTER AND PRINTING UNIT to scan it. She takes off her coat, plunges on a convenient couch and with a wireless DEVICE starts to open a huge media box to watch television. The first thing she sees is an ADVERTISEMENT on CNN of the YOGA MASTERS and their phlogiston adventure. She turns down the television, stares out of the WINDOW, pages some international BOOKS ON WAR AND PEACE and starts to eat her food, hungrily and starved. She then takes out her notebook and routinely types as if the document is writing itself. But as we see the author developing codex after codex, her poise crumbles and her 'natural voice' starts screaming on top, in a raw scary sound.

INGEBORG

(screaming in the microphone of the computer)

I know you can hear me

If this is the game theory

I'm not playing.

I hate games

I hate them..

The evening has fallen and the writer packs her stuff to quietly leave the apartment and roam the streets .

14 ART GALERY - EXT EVENING

Back in her poise INGEBORG passes by the in - crowd outside of an art gallery, hanging, smoking, drinking and recognizing her by tiny movements in the eyes.

ARTIST

Somebody 's got to do it..

15 ART GALERY - INT MIDNIGHT

The live mixed super surround sound of 'music' amplifying industrial silence and acoustics, is building up walls between the new media or the individuals involved. Black light, laser beams and flickering screens with video art add up to an environment of alienation. Yet something is cracking. As soon as Ingeborg enters the space, staff and crew imitate yoga postures. They know about her influence.  In fact she has a contract with them to organize an installation. She drinks a glass of water at the bar and then walks over to the founder of the club, an older man with a big belly and glasses.

INGEBORG

Hi Heiner…

Can I get an advance of 10 Euro, please ?

HEINER

(laughs)

Not that we share any budget, yet.

But of course.

16 AMSTERDAM CITY CENTER - COFFEE SHOP - EXT NIGHT

INGEBORG walks inside .

INGEBORG

For ten EURO

a nice dry sweet smelling weed,

please.

17 Amsterdam - Hotelroom Spies filming and tapping Ingeborg Houwen's Bedroom Studio - INT Night.

INGEBORG smokes a pure weed joint and her body starts doing yoga.

INGEBORG

(in lotus posture and in trance training the postures in free style )

Body of the imagination.

Reverse:

imagination of the body..

That here is the curse.

make it end on nurse

or worse

make it not a poem

.

The body poet makes contact with the universe and chants the night away until she false asleep at her cheap little bank coach.

18 Amsterdam - Hotelroom Spies filming and tapping Ingeborg Houwen's Bedroom Studio - INT morning.

It is eight o'clock in the morning, but INGEBORG, although still in her PAJAMA, is already behind her computer again, subliming her state of the arts in a financial letter to the Income tax Company. The Front Door bell rings with an intense loud sound. INGEBORG walks to her apartment door to lock it but the neighbors have opened the front door and she finds somebody with a passkey opening her apartment door. The door opens. Three HUGE armed POLICEMEN whizz their badges in INGEBORG's face.

POLICE MAN 1

Amsterdam Police.

Are you I. Houwen ?

INGEBORG

(with a loud voice)

I am the Boss in here.

The three POLICE OFFICERS walk inside the room.

INGEBORG takes her phone and starts making pictures.

POLICE WOMAN

( starts swinging her bob )

She is violating me.

One police officer THROWS himself at INGEBORG, until she is bound to the ground, flat on her phase. She turns her head from the front to the side, falling in dead cobra position.

POLICEMAN 1

She's got very tiny wrists.

POLICE MAN 2

Then let's take her away.

INGEBORG is being handcuffed and forced to walk the STREETS in her pajama.

19  Old City Centre EXT Day

INGEBORG

(to the police man)

Crime: Aunty Willemien payed for the rent.

I am not a week behind.

Last week I talked to the lawyer.

I didn't even mention the rent

the rent is being taken care off.

And by the way,

you are the bad guy.

I do hope you realize that.

I wonder what would be the name of your game.

I can only think of the A of Annexation.

And that's it . From there I stand frozen.

I've never even ever been handcuffed before.

It's not even sexy.

May I please be informed what is going on ?

POLICEMAN

Here we are.

20 POLICE STATION - OLD CENTRE - INT DAY

THE POLICE MAN enters the POLICE STATION pushing ingeborg in a CEL after first un cuffing her. He locks the cell . INGEBORG is behind bars.

POLICE MAN

Let's see how far all this talking takes you.

INGEBORG

(nods)

I know what you mean.

But you don't suppose I'm being convicted

as a so called heretic , do you?

The policeman ignores the speech professionally, and then is offering INGEBORG a light weight super sized blue PAPER SUIT.

POLICEMAN

It's for drowners at sea after being rescued. It's a drowners' suit.

INGEBORG

(enters the suit )

(making an elastic belt with her underwear)

(starts doing yoga)

Right Wing Politics ?

This is it.

Well, here we are.

The cell breaks open and a man comes inside.

INGEBORG

(bows)

Namaste.

MAN

Hi

I'm an independent psychiatrist

looking after your state.

INGEBORG

I'm looking for answers too.

How is it I end up in a prison police cell ?

What the hell did I do wrong ?

What kind of a country do we we live in ?

PSYCHIATRIST

Judging your behavior right now

I say you look pretty ill.

I agree for your arrest to be extended.

The PSYCHIATRIST signs a SOP ( a Standard Operation Procedure ) and splits it in two, landing the original on the POLICE DESK TOP.

PSYCHIATRIST

You will be further interrogated by the Police Officer.

The PSYCHIATRIST leaves the cell yard. INGEBORG continues doing Yoga in the prison cell.

The CLOCK has been going around for 2 hours when the cell door is being opened again.

POLICE OFFICER

I come to take Process Verbal.

But first you get to talk to a lawyer.

 This way, please.

21 POLICE STATION - OLD CENTRE - INT DAY

Outside the cell, in a small corner , a table is set up with two chairs. Behind one of them we see the silhouette of a young woman.

INGEBORG

(sticks her hand out in a sign of politeness)

YOUNG WOMAN

You may press one of these buttons here.

Attached to the wall are TWO BUTTONS . ONE says: International . The OTHER  :  civic. INGEBORG chooses for International.

YOUNG WOMAN

I am your lawyer.

Here is my card.

INGEBORG

Can you tell me what's going on ?

I'm three months late with the rent,

but that's what's been taking care off.

I'm not a criminal.

LAWYER

The Claim is that you attacked the police officer.

INGEBORG

Attacked ?

These people break into my studio.

I took some photo's and my pitch went up.

That's all that happened.

Technically, playing with pitch is what I'm studying and even professing. Emotions in speech.

You know. I work with pitch a lot.

LAWYER

I believe you're not a criminal.

These people you deal with are real rats, however.

Call me tomorrow. To see if you're out.

INGEBORG

All right.

If I get my phone back.

They took my phone you know.

LAWYER

And one other thing.

You have the right to be silent.

Don't tell them anything.

INGEBORG

Is it really that bad ?

What about the truth ?

O no, truth is relative.

22 POLICE STATION - OLD CENTRE - INT DAY

In yet another small room a police man is sitting behind a desk top. Opposite him is Ingeborg.

POLICE OFFICER

Is your name : I. Houwen ?

INGEBORG

I am advised to remain silent.

POLICE OFFICER

Right.

I will now read the complaint.

Violation of an officer in duty.

INGEBORG

My pitch went up. I told her I was Boss. Which isn't True , I suppose, and for which I'm sorry. Then I took  a picture of the situation, which is part of my job as an artist.

POLICE OFFICER

(writing)

The verdict of the state will be heard hereafter.

23 POLICE STATION - OLD CENTRE - INT DAY

INGEBORG waits another five hours in her cell. The door opens.

POLICE OFFICER

You may follow me please.

INGEBORG

Am I being released ?

POLICE OFFICER

Follow me please.

24 POLICE STATION - OLD CENTRE - EXT DAY

Outside the station an ambulance is waiting, the doors are wide open. INGEBORG may step in to be clanged in a straight jacked that is constructed to a bed.

POLICE OFFICER

Stay calm , please.

Are these your personal belongings ?

The Police Officer shows her her keys and phone.

INGEBORG

(nods)

Can I take a picture  ?

POLICE OFFICER

No.

The Ambulance sends out it's sound and takes off. As she is lying flat on the bed, all INGEBORG sees are the limelights of the city. Besides the ambulance, she hears the sounds of the Police officers and the driver's messages.

DRIVER'S

( semaphone sound)

Arc-in.

Closed detention

Observation Room.

25 PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL -INT. EVENING

The ambulance stops and opens it's doors and INGEBORG is brought to yet another cell : a larger empty room connected to a sound system.

SOUND SYSTEM

We know you can be aggressive.

And advice you to take the medication that will be offered to you.

A small lock in the wall is opening and in it lies a white pill.

INGEBORG

(swallows it with grand gestures)

Ok,

it's social security number 3592133 here.

( quotes her personal bookkeeping from her phone)

" After a gradual extraction of the Law Income Artist , the artist - Ingeborg Houwen alias Mrs. I. Houwen - is convicted on different grounds .  Inside my practice and silent partnership I therefore prepare the proposition , that it is estimated that the underlying fundaments were one of human , social and civil health : sexual copying and cohabit. As such on demographic grounds : as an unmarried single childless woman , in the period from 2007 until the present day the artist is subjected to a general judgment of bad will , this apparently after the norms of the council , who thereafter on these grounds took the decide to take her right on financial income for 100 % , in a fi scale acknowledged form of surpassing and as such a form of killing  within - as it now seems - the prevision of a psychiatric make over (  replacement at less than zero minimum serve off ) . .  And please remember that the Service Labour and Income clones and sucks the administration number originating in Ingeborg Houwen' s art work: the recognition and collection in short the selection of it in this governmental experiment of a Law Artists Income. That seems to be 14 years of extraction rated after the rule of 1941, that was considered a valid concept for the Book of Justice by the High Council in 1954: all means and money taken from the industry against the purpose of the enterprise. "

After a few hours the door opens. A medical BROTHER in uniform is leading INGEBORG through the building. It's a kaleidoscopic experience involving elevators and doors that are opened electronically by the brother. Finally the brother stops in front of a DOOR that has a NAME TAG on it : Mrs. I. Houwen.

BROTHER

(opens the door, gestures)

You will be called for dinner.

INGEBORG steps inside. The window has bars in front of it. The outdoor curtains are automatically closed. The Sun is falling yet and a ray off light is coming through. She hears the sounds of somebody screaming.  She gets her phone and dials Ferry, the Judge in her network.

INGEBORG

Ferry ?

I've been kid napped and drugged

against my will.

What kind of practice this is ?

I don't know. You should know. You're the judge.

There was police involved

and now I'm in some sort of cell.

I'm not telling you any stories.

I have to make it short,

I'm running out of battery

because I couldn't take my charger.

But when I get out tomorrow,

will you please pick me up ?!

By bike is fine.

The phone call is over.  The door is being knocked. INGEBORG reluctantly walks to the front to open it.

VOICE

Mrs. Houwen ?

INGEBORG opens the door. A sister dressed in civilian looks at her.

INGEBORG

Yes?

SISTER

Dinner is served. Come with me please.

INGEBORG

Where am I ?

SISTER

You're in a Psychiatric Hospital.

Tomorrow Morning the Court will be here.

And your case will be heard.

Afterwards you will speak with your lawyer.

They have walked through the corridor alongside all the other cells and enter a huge table and kitchen corner. Every seat is taken. The man who is releasing sounds from beneath his abdomens all the time, is waiting for the moment where this is all about.

MAN

FATTEN ME UP PEOPLE

THAT'S ALL YOU CAN DO.

FEED ME FAT.

SISTER

Mr. Graidanus is having dinner at his room.

The meals are uncovered and emplaced on the table, while Mr. Graidanus, under loud protest,  is being accompanied to his room.  Right in front of her INGEBORG sees a huge TELEVISION SCREEN. The YOGA MASTERS are being communicated by a deep over-voice.

VOICE OVER (s)

Somewhere in Middle Earth 4 yoga masters will unload invisible particles.

Save the date. More work shop information coming up soon.

A sister turns down the SOUND of the television.

SISTER

Can we have a moment of silence , please ?

The table actually falls silent.

SISTER

(with a serene smile)

Enjoy your dinner.

INGEBORG tries to eat but she's shaking. She looks at her meal avoiding eye contact .

26 PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL - INGEBORG'S PRISON CELL - INT. NIGHT

The small window in the wall is being opened from the outside and an enormous SEARCHLIGHT shines through. INGEBORG tries to sleep but she is wide awake. The howling of Mr. Graidanus is being overruled by yet another male screamer. INGEBORG peeps out of bed to have a look at the hall. Someone she immediately adopts as The Russian Sailor is being pushed down to the floor by four sisters and brothers and an injection needle. She quietly makes a picture and returns to her cell.

26 PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL -INGEBORG'S PRISON CELL  - INT. MORNING

Two over excited males dressed in civilian and a sister are in the room.

MAN1

My name is Doctor Willems. I will represent your case at the court.

MAN 2

My name is Doctor Adriaanszoon. I will represent your case at court.

(to the sister)

Shouldn't she at least be dressed properly.

SISTER

No time. The court has already arrived.

27 PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL - CONFERENCE ROOM- INT. MORNING

JUDGE

We are gathered here to look at the case of I. Houwen.

Dr. WILLEMS

Mrs. Houwen is a severely schizophrenic who suffers from delusions.

INGEBORG

Dr. Willems is a man I have never seen in my life until 5 minutes ago.

DOCTOR ADRIAANSZOON

Mrs. Houwen is a severely schizophrenic who suffers from delusions.

INGEBORG

Dr. Adriaanszoon is also a man I have never seen in my life before, until 5 minutes ago.

DOCTOR WILLEMS

We have been observing Mrs. Houwen and she is a danger to society.

INGEBORG

This is outrageous.

JUDGE

The Court decides for Mrs. Houwen that she will be taken in for observation for three more weeks until the new hearing of the next court is being set up. We have deducted that this will happen against her will.

( hammers)

The Court packs up and so do the doctors.

SISTER

Here is your lawyer Mr. Hendriksen .

 INGEBORG

I'm in a complete shock.

These sentences can last thirty years or something.

MR. HENDRIKSEN

Don't be silly.

We'll have you out of here no so sooner than six months.

INGEBORG

Six months .. Thirty years. It hardly feels like any difference.

27 PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL - CREATIVITY ROOM- INT. MORNING

It's been three weeks now and Ingeborg has applied some tricks of the trade. She's been hooking up with the creative staff and full of enjoyment finishes an embroidery that says : STOCKHOLM SYNDROME.   The music is playing, the patients are painting, and the sisters are glowing with content; here is an autonomous artist at play .

INGEBORG

(whilst sewing)

Lidewij, can I talk to you about the workshop program ?

LIDEWIJ

Sure, go ahead.

INGEBORG

Well, I saw on television that there are workshops for psychiatric patients as part of a yoga thriller project. It's corporate funding so I guess no costs will be spared on safety and so on.

LIDEWIJ

Where ?

INGEBORG

The workshops are in Vienna, in some ancient building, a Tower. The air is very good there, or so I heard.

LIDEWIJ

I shall have a look.

INGEBORG

We can watch it together on television after tomorrow morning's good morning talk.

27 PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL - CLOSED DETENTION HOME DEPARTMENT - INT. MORNING

The group is seated in a circle.

MR. GRAIDANUS

I want to go for a walk this afternoon.

SISTER

That can be arranged.

Announce yourself at the medication corner at nine.

A brother or sister will walk you and guard you.

 Yes Mrs. Popol ?

MR. POPOL

I want to speak to my lawyer, my psychologist and the doctor.

SISTER

Right, I will note that down.

You will be contacted after the staff gathering.

Yes, Mrs. Houwen ?

INGEBORG

I want to cheque out a television program with Lidewij.

LIDEWIJ

( to the stunned sister)

It's ok.

I promised Mrs. Houwen to have a look.

SISTER

Mrs. Houwen has to be at present at ten when the Court will have the next hearing.

Another moment of Christian silence and the group falls apart. Lidewij and Ingeborg stay to watch television. After each block of news the Yoga Masters are being covered and represented. Besides the over voice there are also text banners rolling over the images. INGEBORG points them out.

INGEBORG

" Free workshops for psychiatric patients.  Bus ride on the house. No transport costs, free use and stay of the premise. Workshops and Catering included. "

The artist is a good friend of mine. I know her very well. She wants to make an image of an epigenetic hospital ;  and reveal the dark side of the radical enlightenment group : an underdeveloped linguistic sensitivity.

I believe it's going to be an intense 1 to 1 work out

of patient actor crossing.

.. throwing semantic particles

in order to sense it's loads

in teams or couples.

Very intense and eventually staged .

Think of the contrast.

With the Yoga Masters.

Our hunchbacked struggles against their minds over matter.

It's going to be  beautiful.

All rights reserved. You are being challenged to find ways in and out. Why not join them: all four floors. The new ones and the more socially adapted. Lets get the whole crap at the mountain. And let's have a new work out. An experience of fourteen days.

Come on. You guys have lots of workshops.

Horse riding swimming museums visiting.

Why not have the whole joint taken over by dedicated scientists and be part of an art work.

Please ?

LIDEWIJ

( looks cornered )

I will have a word with the board.

28 PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL - CONFERENCE ROOM - INT. MORNING

The Court has been going on for a while.

DOCTOR REINOLDS

However,

as Mrs. Houwen is not  capable of earning an income I conclude that she is not able to organize her daily affairs yet. A dementation and isolation of that kind is often seen amongst the psychotic types, paranoid schizophrenics included.  We advice the Court for another stay of three months to finish our work with Mrs. Houwen.

INGEBORG can almost not control her trembling.

INGEBORG

I'm not an isolated schizophrenic .

I have taken my social security case to court with a lawyer. Meanwhile I stimulated my company by arranging a Cultural Loan of 3000 Euro to continue doing what I'm here fore. Make video's and movies.

MR. HENDRIKSEN

shush.

You are not allowed to talk during the hearing.

JUDGE

The Court has taken in the documents and statements, with a signed declaration of Mr. B.J. Soons, psychiatrist , such as meant in article 14 a part 4 of the Law Special Take In Psychiatric Hospitals (Law  STIPH)  .

Furthermore acquaintance has been taken of a treatment plan, as meant in article 14 a part 5 of the Law STIPH.

The Court has also taken notice of a by Mr. Hendriksen , bishop of the involved, negotiated declaration of reference of the pending request of the present research, that she not agrees with the allotted , that she partly agrees with the treatment and that she will act after the conditions a far as possible . The involved refuses blood sampling.

From the consulted documents and statements the following has appeared:

By disposal of this Court of April 2nd with relationship to the involved an authorization is granted for the duration of six months.

The Court has come to the judgement dat the related by  means of a mental illness ,  notably schizophrenia of the paranoid type, causes danger, especially the danger that the related is going down in society herself, a danger which can only be defied inside a psychiatric hospital, being not an institution for the mentally handicapped.

29 PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL - CREATIVITY ROOM - INT. MORNING

INGEBORG is doing cranial sacred therapy with herself whilst sitting behind a computer to work. The radio is tuning sounds.

RADIO

In awaiting of the Four Yoga Masters and their release of Phlogiston …

Are you a nurse in a psychiatric hospital ?

Now ! in collaboration with the Law Special Take In Psychiatric Hospitals, the STIPH , come celebrate our

' Mountain of Fools ' ! We are fully prepared with a professional team of hundreds of potential co-workers.

LIDEWIJ

It sounds very attractive to me.

INGEBORG

I guess it will be loads of fun. They work with professional actors who can mime the language of the mentally ill. With as result the Extreme Close Up, that might be missing in todays treatment of relying pure on medication and food and sleep and vague creative therapy.

No offense to your atelier, of course.

LIDEWIJ

I have had a chat with the Board.

And they are positive towards the idea.

How can we contact the production ?

INGEBORG

O, that's really easy. They have a website with an application form.

ACT II

30 CASTLE - TOP TOWER BALCONY - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT DAY

PROFESSOR ALEXANDRA VAN GIFFEN

Ah ! At last a view of multicultural Europe…

The busses from four European nations are arriving and patients are stepping out. Each bus has been painted in the national flag.

RAELL

Prisons are always more multicultural.

It is a pity that the Epigenetic Hospital shall be build with gates all around. I would have hoped that the chip technology was sufficient.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

I think it looks very strong.

My only wonder is :

where is the Artist … ?

Shouldn't she be up here with us ?

30 CASTLE - INSIDE THE TOWER'S HALLWAY - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT DAY

INGEBORG is walking backwards spotting the hallway where the unearthed work of the patients is hanging .  RAELL is walking backwards the hallway to look at the embroiderings as well. They are bound to bump into each other…

RAELL

Such a strong statement.

INGEBORG

Adolf will turn around in his grave.

RAELL

He would now, wouldn't he.

INGEBORG

It would irritate him.

RAELL

Good.

 INGEBORG

But such a strong statement.

It reverses the cause of this building.

And things aren't so easily reversed.

RAELL

I see you are a patient.

INGEBORG

( waves her bracelet )

One not so fine morning

I was pushed to the ground

by three police officers

and the next thing I know is I'm being protected against my self.

RAELL

O O

It's OK that the State shows an interest in collecting minds. But if these are her practices..

INGEBORG

Anyway, I'm 'home'.

Here is my cell.

RAELL looks at the name tag.

RAELL

(to himself)

Also amazing how detailed she is.

As if she knew the life in an institution.

( to Ingeborg)

What's your first name ?

Ingrid ? Inge ?

INGEBORG

It's Ingeborg.

RAELL

Amazing.

INGEBORG

The name of the missing artist is Ingeborg too.

RAELL

How do you know ?

INGEBORG

Ingeborg is a good friend of mine.

RAELL

She is now, isn't she.

INGEBORG

But you of course wouldn't believe me.

Here's a typical paranoia schizofrenic

coming up with some delusions.

RAELL

Technically, no.

You just surprised me.

Good Afternoon.

INGEBORG

Good Afternoon.

She sneaks into her room, waits ten seconds and then comes out again to work on a computer in the hallway.

She then goes to eat with the group and turns in early to bed.

30 CASTLE - INSIDE THE HALLWAY INGEBORG'S ROOM - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT DAY

INGEBORG

I can't believe you got me out of here so soon…

RAELL

Special orders from Ingeborg.

You should know that we are a legal enterprise .

So I know these people.

They all come along with some judicial administration,

that makes you see at once

how competitive they are about their clients.

They really mean it well.

INGEBORG

You get promoted when they like you.

It's that primitive.

What did you tell them ?

RAELL

O I just told them we found your resume on the internet, and that we believe in 1 representative being part of the board..

INGEBORG

Representative..

A !

Well I can warn you,

I can only speak for myself.

I have decided that long ago,

it's the most hurtful in terms of contingencies .

And thereby the most like wise to be smothered in it's own truth.

 RAELL

I have the feeling

that you could represent much more than just you yourself , Young Lady.

But it may be true..

The world would finally cease to exist

when we were all just representing our selves.

INGEBORG

My imagination is fearless, let me warn you.

It's as large as the moon and inspired by the sun.

Virtually I'm everywhere.

But when it comes to knowledge…

RAELL

One best speaks for one self.

31 CASTLE - DIRECTORS ROOM1 - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT DAY

INGEBORG is watching the monitors . She stops at her own department.

INGEBORG

That's Ms. Sun Jo,

she makes stages of card board

and then knits little puppets into it.

She's a Rietvelt drop out who studied stage decorum. She is very much Dutch,

but as you can see of Korean descent.

The most remarkable thing about her I find,

is that's she's sexually active in ' the clinic'.

There is Mr. Graidanus.

Born and raised in Amsterdam.

He used to work in the horeca.

And got worked out by a new international management.

He screams for the losses in his life and career.

Mrs. Croclóu is a young mother

who has just giving birth

and by her family

was taken to ' the clinic' to strengthen.

She is afraid that she is being replaced by the other woman.

Mr. Popol comes from India.

He's probably taken in from the Red Light District.

He speaks a few words in English.

And is very angry and concerned about the costs of his stay in ' the hospital'.

That's Mrs. Breederode ,

she's an elderly retired single lady

living with her radio and all confused about digital media.

There is an anorectic girl, with the head scarf.

She gets the white girl media education .

Impersonation of the Virgin Mary included. That's what these babe media are working on. It's all very loaded.

Mr. Mohamed there tries to be the loyal grand father but

he explodes in sexual violence against which he also wants to protect her and therefore wants her to escape. From him. But she keeps coming back.

REALL

But beautiful don't you think.

I always wanted to dress like that myself.

The face so elegantly shining from a triangular rose of shiny silk.

INGEBORG

Her's isn't silk , however.

It's synthetic cloth.

RAELL

You must have noticed that at the laundry.

It's amazing how much you know of them. Wouldn't have expected that from a girl just representing her self.

INGEBORG

Well, the point is

my mind is trained of lately

by a research I promote.

RAELL

Just like Ingeborg.

INGEBORG

Just like her.

RAELL

And the self knowledge comes with the training of the mind ?

INGEBORG

Within the training , yes.

We were all trained in the Academic Circus.

I am trained in the Academic Circus.

Let me not speak for my friends.

But what happens to us ?

What happened to me ?

Anyway, stop lapsing and crying.

Happily we've got work to do.

So there are about 400 psychiatric patients.

And how about the actor's camp ?

Do you have 400 actors as well ?

RAELL

We have all the ingredients.

We just don't know what to do with them.

INGEBORG

Least harmful is a 1 to 1 coupling focussing on linguistic sounds. Ingeborg told me.

RAELL

Make conversation.

INGEBORG

Make conversation.

It's bound to happen in closed detention whether you are regressing or progressing or are a pure idiot.

RAELL

But it will be different than for example our conversation.

INGEBORG

You are aware that Ingeborg wants to shoot the entrance of the yoga masters with the full crowd of the epigenetic hospital in the background, off sound with an audio make over. Of an angelic choir. Diegetic sounds.

So even if we did produce a lot of sound

you don't here it from the image.

RAELL

These are the people that will never be listened at.

INGEBORG

We are the extra's.

RAELL

That's movie making language.

INGEBORG

INGEBORG

And that's what we do here

be it in the tradition of great late European theatre :

and work with target groups.

The lawyers, doctors and psychiatrists walk in to discuss the program and look at the monitors.

RAELL

(to them)

Ah ! The Hospital Staff.

Welcome in the camera office.

We were just finishing here.

( to Ingeborg)

Would you care to have a look at the Yoga unit.

INGEBORG

Yes.

RAELL

( to the Hospital Staff)

She's not coming for dinner.

We have far too much work to do.

INGEBORG

(giggles)

see you ..

32 CASTLE - DIRECTORS ROOM2 - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT DAY

RAELL

There is not much happening.

INGEBORG

There is so much happening.

RAELL

We have them 24 hours a day .

But there is not much story.

Like one of them being a secret agent or something.

INGEBORG

No. But then again

lots of movies

fail on the story level

they say.

Let's indulge in this beautiful paradise.

RAELL

Richard Grere could play the lead.

INGEBORG

What would he do then.

Smuggle the Flogiston ?

RAELL

Something like that.

INGEBORG

But that's impossible.

Flogiston is the non existing particle.

RAELL

It's a comedy really.

Something unexpected should happen.

INGEBORG

I like it very much the way it is.

Did anybody work out the Autonomous Alfa Software?

RAELL

The inner light

paintings tool ?

O yes .

I did them at home.

Like Ingeborg said,

we invented a drawing and painting system

that could capture the inner light experience.

INGEBORG

I'm very curious.

Is it very bright ?

RAELL

Lots of them create a black box

with inner digital sparkling.

INGEBORG

This wonderful program should be applied in the end mix on a very special occasion.

RAELL

But when will that be ?

INGEBORG

When the yogis are doing their camel posture

in the blue light.

Ingeborg told me.

Did somebody install The Blue Room ?

RAELL

My Angels did.

INGEBORG

Your Angels ?

Wait a minute..

What did you say your name was again?

RAELL

My name is Raell.

INGEBORG

What ?!

The Raell ?

Metaphysical Master

of the Intelligent Design Project ?

I've written a code in which you figure in category 2.

Let me recall:

Ingeborg takes her PHONE, scrolls a bit and reads:

INGEBORG

Intelligent Design:

(1 ) Search and tracking principle researched here at the unknown side, of thought itself.

(2 ) globally applied in a cluster of Computer Assisted Design. In this promotion index ( speech recognition 2009) : the ex-faith of Electronic Composer DJ Mark Poysdon ; the fourth or Multi theistic World religion , taking form in the Mythical Extraterrestrial Representation of Raell ( and his Angels ) : before WWII in written form the art historical study of Movement of Distinction in the Arts ; after this as Contemporary Fetishism transforming in an empirical and esthetic-all observatorium of Pleasure and Pain applied in dermatological (Skin) research, Form giver of the Beauty and Health Sector, deducted to Fashion Industry ; anti-criminal Television Theatre, Print Information Distribution, Public Safety ( Police), Research & Education, seed improvement (Argrarical Sector), and Micro Anatomic Operational Science to develop three dimensional body images.

(3) representative of creative Interaction Design varying from genetic manipulation till cloning and three dimensional drawing.

RAELL

Well now, there's a mouth full.

How about some lunch.

INGEBORG

Lunch would be great.

RAELL

We eat with the yoga people.

INGEBORG

So, no hagelslag and peanut butter.

They put it together on their slightly disgusting industrial bread and call it a snickers sandwich.

RAELL

Snickers !

Designed to make your teeth rot.

33 CASTLE - DIRECTORS ROOM2 - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT DAY

Two Angels serve food.

INGEBORG

I once did a poetry performance naked.

May I recite ?

RAELL

It's irresistible.

INGEBORG

Beware and stare

amaze and gaze

the planet is moved by her toe

Young Miss Euroland

dressed in chemical charism

knitted on histories pins

parades the streets

waves her hand

and greets her many friends

in Spanish German and French

Hola hela halo

Here speaks the fainting Saint

we are but a piece of paint

in the empire

 of a vampire

Millions of years

it took to be defined

her rotating mind

her mastering of the all

by a wall

lost in the many

she never had a penny

she's the King's fool

she is but his tool

she is a poet

to transcend the powers

of this creature of ours

her story was whipped

she banned from the script

O Heraldry Heraldry Heraldry

Now she serves technology

and has you spin in her screen

travel her cognitive travel

you lazy consumerist devil

But on she goes Miss Euroland

To with her many friends

throw semiotic harpoon

level up

to the moon

RAELL

So, you're an actor , too.

I see.

Beautiful poetry.

INGEBORG

Where I come from,

they are all arguing about words.

RAELL

Language outside literature.

It's a terrible thing.

In fact the karaoke code nearly spoilt every thing.

Not only the insiders but also the outsiders became aware.

INGEBORG

It was all over television.

You saw the streets changing.

The movement went very big.

Even art institutions agreed with the cluster.

There was one brave girl that installed a Dyslectic Karaoke.

But I - I mean Ingeborg - didn't know they were going to do that.

She wasn't born in computers.

She may have a minor talent for information

but she sure wasn't born in there.

RAELL

Sometimes it's hard to tell what's a resonance or a complete different movement, a parallel event. Mind you we have tax lawyers for that.

But a born PR associative, that I can tell.

Look at us , look where we are.

INGEBORG

Well, you're the one that organized it.

RAELL

No no.

We only took orders.

Ok. I phoned the maharaja.

And one or two things are added by us. That's what we do during the day job outside the workshop area.

We advertised in this case for example the busses.

INGEBORG

Very nice.

RAELL

It was purely practical.

They turned it into an artists commission.

But it was us who gave form to the picture.

INGEBORG

Strange policies if you think about it.

RAELL

It added to our knowledge.

But at least the job got done.

We coordinated and filmed the arrival of the patients.

Brilliant pic.

Not that we need the material in the artwork.

INGEBORG

Don't you just love film budgets.

RAELL

They are huge.

INGEBORG

It's just so good for the imagination.

RAELL

But you need a good script.

In this case: we opt for video art status.

INGEBORG

It's just very odd that the Epigenetic Hospital got chosen to be realized.

RAELL

Ingeborg,  at my age…

you know you can't think of everything yourself.

I just wanted a creative adventure.

Nothing more nothing less.

And the good cause came for free by an outstanding research report.

INGEBORG

Science can be quit fanatic.

Ingeborg was all excited by the material she shot that served as evidence.

RAELL

Trial and error .

You need it.

Otherwise you can't progress.

And without progress: no sparks.

 INGEBORG

The Yogi people from the East and the West have their own television station  ?

RAELL

It's very easy to Channel.

They work a lot on the internet.

INGEBORG

I see..

But listen.

They are chanting as well.

I heard that in some yoga

your bones will start to sing to you.

And that song may be incorporated in your system.

RAELL

Where would one be without his own inner music.

INGEBORG

You should tell that to the doctors.

They are obsessed with us hearing sounds that are virtual.

In fact it's the one thing they use as an argument to keep us from our freedom.

RAELL

You can't even integrate your own song.

I feel the tension.

INGEBORG

Where if you listen to Steven Spielberg..

He says the little voice that most of the times comes very soft , is the highlight of your career !

And if I may add:

it's called the Universe because it is a uni-verse.

It sings to us.

Or listen to Harold Bloom who invented a God that doesn't accept schizophrenia.

RAELL

They are both free established white males. Probably lots of followers.

None of that is of use now.

But anyway, most of the Yogi people

are very well organized.

In fact they even released me from my video conferences.

I was getting hyperbolic as my Angels explained to me and I had to stop.

Listen to the yogis

their humming of joy.

INGEBORG

But whom did you video conference with ?

RAELL

Ah !

For this project ?

Ingeborg her associate Mr. Van Hessen

and the Maharaja .

The angels took over after some time

I didn't even ask for reports.

(giggles)

INGEBORG

Did you ever explode.

RAELL

One must my child .

But it best be with joy.

Anger is harder to explode in.

Much more dangerous to the body also.

Even if they use the hormone of aggression

in the US army.

Or at least they used to do so.

I read it in an autobiography .

INGEBORG
Would that be Klaus Man's Wende Punkt ?

RAELL

You are damn right !

It is Klaus Man's Wende Punkt .

INGEBORG

The story is unforgettable.

Part Diary part Letters.

I read it after I was in Munich .

RAELL

It wasn't just tears but with chicken bone.

Dandy boy runs away from home

and then decides to work with technically the enemy.

INGEBORG

German Dandy boy joins the US army to defy the  fascist enemy at home.

The beauty lies in the detail of the description of the autobiographic essay that almost explodes with political fire.

RAELL

Nice try.

Well, aren't we chatting the night away.

I would totally forget about the office.

INGEBORG

But that's the great advantage of art.

During the performance you are free of duty.

You just enjoy your creation.

I have a concern though.

What's with all the footage ?

RAELL

We thought about a documentary sale.

Or an add on the DVD print.

The Making off

that sort of stuff.

INGEBORG

She did think of the post production.

RAELL

She designed the whole thing backwards. Starts with the finance to crack over the performance. One long take. The wrap up girl Alexandra is our only solution.

INGEBORG

As soon as the research was finished

A Ja

Van Hessen produced them.

But he told me very little.

INGEBORG

I don't think Ingeborg ever got the prototype .

And they were meant for her to start a casting for possible candidates in the extra regime.

The old and the weak ;

she has an eye for those.

Who knows a Christian compromise.

Faust was the name of the game.

A reminder of what she was exchanging herself with.

RAELL

From Literature to Video.

Her soul to the devil.

Well, I would have been honored .

INGEBORG

To play Mephisto ?

But it wasn't you who sold her.

RAELL

No, she sold herself.

Ingeborg you have no idea

how stiff these meetings are.

I'm doing everything that's in my power

to render these men into something more playful.

INGEBORG

Well, I guess they are looking for new types of leadership.

RAELL

Ingeborg must feel exhausted.

INGEBORG

This relationship lasts for already more then ten years.

They broke into her computer three times.

RAELL

Ingeborg, I don't mind creating things

as vague as chances.

But when it comes to collaboration I can't stand failures in the communication.

What I understand from you, is that

RAELL

Yeah, but this is much more than journalism.

This is an art project.

There is nothing to hide.

It deserves to be celebrated.

INGEBORG

Think of what she could have been.

RAELL

Professor emotions in speech. Director. Anything.

INGEBORG

Emotions in speech.

So you got that part of the research too.

RAELL

O I asked for all the work.

INGEBORG

And van Hessen gave it to you.

That explains why I got all these emails resend.

INGEBORG

 making language.

INGEBORG

Yes.

RAELL

 making language.

INGEBORG

And that's what we do here

be it in the tradition of great late European theatre :

and work with target groups.

RAELL

Ah ! The Hospital Staff.

Welcome in the camera office.

We were just finishing here.

( to Ingeborg)

Would you care to have a look at the Yoga unit.

INGEBORG

Yes.

RAELL

( to the Hospital Staff)

She's not coming for dinner.

We have far too much work to do.

INGEBORG

(giggles)

see you ..

32 CASTLE - DIRECTORS ROOM2 - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT DAY

RAELL

There is not much happening.

INGEBORG

There is so much happening.

RAELL

We have them 24 hours a day .

But there is not much story.

Like one of them being a secret agent or something.

INGEBORG

No. But then again

lots of movies

fail on the story level

they say.

Let's indulge in this beautiful paradise.

RAELL

Richard Grere could play the lead.

INGEBORG

What would he do then.

Smuggle the Flogiston ?

RAELL

Something like that.

INGEBORG

But that's impossible.

Flogiston is the non existing particle.

RAELL

It's a comedy really.

Something unexpected should happen.

INGEBORG

I like it very much the way it is.

Did anybody work out the Autonomous Alfa Software?

RAELL

The inner light

paintings tool ?

O yes .

I did them at home.

Like Ingeborg said,

we invented a drawing and painting system

that could capture the inner light experience.

INGEBORG

I'm very curious.

Is it very bright ?

RAELL

Lots of them create a black box

with inner digital sparkling.

INGEBORG

This wonderful program should be applied in the end mix on a very special occasion.

RAELL

But when will that be ?

INGEBORG

When the yogis are doing their camel posture

in the blue light.

Ingeborg told me.

Did somebody install The Blue Room ?

RAELL

My Angels did.

INGEBORG

Your Angels ?

Wait a minute..

What did you say your name was again?

RAELL

My name is Raell.

INGEBORG

What ?!

The Raell ?

Metaphysical Master

of the Intelligent Design Project ?

I've written a code in which you figure in category 2.

Let me recall:

Ingeborg takes her PHONE, scrolls a bit and reads:

INGEBORG

Intelligent Design:

(1 ) Search and tracking principle researched here at the unknown side, of thought itself.

(2 ) globally applied in a cluster of Computer Assisted Design. In this promotion index ( speech recognition 2009) : the ex-faith of Electronic Composer DJ Mark Poysdon ; the fourth or Multi theistic World religion , taking form in the Mythical Extraterrestrial Representation of Raell ( and his Angels ) : before WWII in written form the art historical study of Movement of Distinction in the Arts ; after this as Contemporary Fetishism transforming in an empirical and esthetic-all observatorium of Pleasure and Pain applied in dermatological (Skin) research, Form giver of the Beauty and Health Sector, deducted to Fashion Industry ; anti-criminal Television Theatre, Print Information Distribution, Public Safety ( Police), Research & Education, seed improvement (Argrarical Sector), and Micro Anatomic Operational Science to develop three dimensional body images.

(3) representative of creative Interaction Design varying from genetic manipulation till cloning and three dimensional drawing.

RAELL

Well now, there's a mouth full.

How about some lunch.

INGEBORG

Lunch would be great.

RAELL

We eat with the yoga people.

INGEBORG

So, no hagelslag and peanut butter.

They put it together on their slightly disgusting industrial bread and call it a snickers sandwich.

RAELL

Snickers !

Designed to make your teeth rot.

33 CASTLE - DIRECTORS ROOM2 - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT DAY

Two Angels serve food.

INGEBORG

I once did a poetry performance naked.

May I recite ?

RAELL

It's irresistible.

INGEBORG

Beware and stare

amaze and gaze

the planet is moved by her toe

Young Miss Euroland

dressed in chemical charism

knitted on histories pins

parades the streets

waves her hand

and greets her many friends

in Spanish German and French

Hola hela halo

Here speaks the fainting Saint

we are but a piece of paint

in the empire

 of a vampire

Millions of years

it took to be defined

her rotating mind

her mastering of the all

by a wall

lost in the many

she never had a penny

she's the King's fool

she is but his tool

she is a poet

to transcend the powers

of this creature of ours

her story was whipped

she banned from the script

O Heraldry Heraldry Heraldry

Now she serves technology

and has you spin in her screen

travel her cognitive travel

you lazy consumerist devil

But on she goes Miss Euroland

To with her many friends

throw semiotic harpoon

level up

to the moon

RAELL

So, you're an actor , too.

I see.

Beautiful poetry.

INGEBORG

Where I come from,

they are all arguing about words.

RAELL

Language outside literature.

It's a terrible thing.

In fact the karaoke code nearly spoilt every thing.

Not only the insiders but also the outsiders became aware.

INGEBORG

It was all over television.

You saw the streets changing.

The movement went very big.

Even art institutions agreed with the cluster.

There was one brave girl that installed a Dyslectic Karaoke.

But I - I mean Ingeborg - didn't know they were going to do that.

She wasn't born in computers

INGEBORG

As soon as the research was finished

and the models confirmed

she designed an institution where the material could be build up.

While remaining the screaming bitch on top.

RAELL

A Ja

There were the camera glasses to be worn

by the original protagonist and afterwards taken into industrial fabrication as part of the campaign.

Van Hessen produced them.

But he told me very little.

INGEBORG

I don't think Ingeborg ever got the prototype .

And they were meant for her to start a casting for possible candidates in the extra regime.

The old and the weak ;

she has an eye for those.

Ingeborg is not involved at all in the production.

INGEBORG

O officially : universities don't do production.

They need pure research.

It could be that they are protecting their sources.

RAELL

By e-mail.

INGEBORG

He could have changed the address.

So that you could never know who is the artist.

RAELL

That serpent.

That explains why I got all these emails resend.

INGEBORG

I'm positive she had no idea you were in.

RAELL

Ingeborg, may I ask you a rude question.

Can you please show me the photography you make.

INGEBORG

( hands him the phone )

RAELL

Why were you already taken pictures of the yogi people before you got arrested ?

INGEBORG

Ok. game's up.

I'm Ingeborg Houwen the Artist.

And with this pictures

I wanted to document the notion of a change in news

eventually to transcribe into a film script .

RAELL

Your very own movie production.

INGEBORG

A case of transcription.

From document to fiction.

Sir, I don't know if you are aware…

But this whole thing

clings to a practice in experimental psychology.

RAELL

So, you're a test rabbit really.

INGEBORG

You just have to be strong enough to turn it into your own thing.

RAELL

So that's what you're up too.

INGEBORG

I'm sure that you will be in it.

RAELL

O really..

As what?

INGEBORG

The long lost for memory experience

of the Jewish friend.

RAELL

He who disappeared for a good reason.

INGEBORG

Look how I can't do without you.

RAELL

We were so successful with what we did.

INGEBORG

First the Bible,

but later in encouraging local authorships

as well.

Cabaret evolved from the indoor Jewish religious plays being driving out to the public audience by the State infringing a Law driving out the Church from the State.

RAELL

It has perhaps a shyness.

I always think Vienna.

INGEBORG

(sings)

The feeling is good

only you and I

it means nothing me

it means nothing to me

O Vienna.

RAELL

All these unhappy housewives who finally got some proper attention .

INGEBORG

Freud fitted perfectly in.

RAELL

It's tender material Ingeborg

INGEBORG

I know. As an outsider

I'm not allowed to interfere.

RAELL

Level things wrong.

INGEBORG

It would be inappropriate.

But you didn't mind about the setting.

RAELL

I love the setting.

INGEBORG

The code of art is very hard.

I tend to call it : Divine Hate, Death of the Holy spirit.

RAELL

But after your research you came up with something fitting: a yoga thriller.

INGEBORG

It's all part of being ex act.

Shall we have a look in the blue room…

RAELL

It's terribly strong.

34 CASTLE - BLUE ROOM  - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT DAY

INGEBORG

You know you should only do this when you are totally relaxed. And naked.

RAELL

Do you have your eyes open already ?

INGEBORG

Not yet.

I know my eyes will search for my brain, my heart and my uterus.

RAELL

Terribly confronting.

So it's hear you want to make your standpoint.

INGEBORG

Yes.

With a bend over backwards.

RAELL

In where the uterus is being used as a muscle structure.

INGEBORG

And where the brain is feeding the endoskeleton.

RAELL

Hormone production life.

INGEBORG

Do you see any of that inner motion ?

RAELL

It better be.

INGEBORG

What is it called again.

Something very descriptive.

Micro Resonance Scan.

RAELL

Or something.

INGEBORG

Its sounds as if it's making a video of my inner sounds.

And mind me they're not all linguistic or teleported or dreams.

My body has it's own sounds.

I can hear and feel it going sclerotic

and then I try to ease it by small bouncy and stretchy movements.

RAELL

Are you a member of a sports club ?

INGEBORG

No No

I can't afford it.

I lead a highly dangerous life

where it comes to social well being.

Some years ago

when we were subsidized

things went well.

we had a car and we made trips.

Now I'm always alone

working the perfect script.

RAELL

I comfort myself with good behavior.

INGEBORG

Be have your .

RAELL

It's amazing how much tyranny there lives in this work.

A three hundred and sixty degrees data projection of ultra sound: magnetic resonance imaging.

An MRI that should catch your body fluid system or otherwise it's fucked. Says the artist.

INGEBORG

This light has been considered a greater threat than a new world war.

Nature lost all interest in us.

RAELL

Lawrence Durrell in the Avignon Quartet.

I always had to laugh

when he wrote those articles.

INGEBORG

Not me.

He lifted a finger and pointed out to something he was very much afraid of.

I wonder though if these fears were purely virtual

or that he actually took the plain to Canada and witnessed it himself.

RAELL

As a member of the LD society

I figure we must be able to find that one out.

What would you do if he was here.

INGEBORG

O my..

Probably serve a good gin.

RAELL

Soften the braincells.

And furthermore, what would you say to him.

INGEBORGO God that makes me totally nervous.

If Lawrence Durrell would be here

I would say to him that we present this event because he advocated yoga too.

For all I know

he was a yogi too.

RAELL

And, is that the truth ?

INGEBORG

Yes.

And because of that I started doing yoga too.

But may be I'm smuggling now with my evidence.

As after all my mother thought me a bit of yoga too when I was a child .

But this project is not for my mother.

It is for Lawrence Durrell the yogi writer.

RAELL

Really.

INGEBORG

Really.

True, in the container of it lies another model for exchange ; it's a quantum computer model animated in 1 picture of a square with a tail on suggestion by the Lawrence Durrell Foundation's Treasurer Paul Lorenz. Imagine when that goes moving.

OuH I love animations.

What would fall out if it swops ? The oeuvre of course. A mall of it ?

Larry is the one who got me into this madness.

He virtually revived the Middle East.

I used one of his notions

to unearth the notion of morphology in robots.

His was a desert tribe

that transcended

the European enlightenment

in stopping to communicate.

It only made sense

 to become the symbol.

They didn't even correspond.

RAELL

Therefore in my circles

it's very rare if someone does .

INGEBORG

It was them great writer characters

I had in mind

 when doing this promotion.

It's funny to now realize how angry I was becoming in this situation.

In a movie version

that should have a real sequence.

And I am the only one who knows how it got build up.

RAELL

such as there is…

INGEBORG

Well, one day I got a visit from a friend who was crossing ten nautical borders on a motor cycle amongst others to meet Miss Ingeborg Houwen,  his fellow artist at the MAFIA : the Media Arts Festival International Amsterdam.

She had one Euro fifty to prepare a lunch,

which afterwards if you'd known my aspiration to be a foundation for the arts exploded quit naturally.

In a performance where I imagined to be talking to the border control. The gendarmerie of Euroland to ensure my visitor a safe and pleasant journey.

Is that too much to ask ?

RAELL

A bit of feeling with reality.

We always stay in contact during the traveling. As you can see.

You feel there is a host in you ?

INGEBORG

I'm ready to be posted.

 From my heart.

There is just not enough wealth in my life right now to share .

Hence I am being forgotten as an organizer.

Nobody ever visits me.

I also use my bedroom as my studio and office.

Think of all the roles to be played in one environment.

RAELL

You sound depressed.

INGEBORG

It's a nuclear fusion really.

RAELL

Are you networking enough ?

Do you see enough people ?

INGEBORG

I worked as a photographer.

Somehow I figured

that I first had to implement a financial infrastructure before I started bragging about my program.

(sobs)

All that work for nothing.

In silence.

RAELL

Ingeborg, you should know better by now.

Look how you inspired me !

INGEBORG

And look what happened to me.

I'm coming out from some coma or something.

I am in a deep shock actually .

Shouldn't there be work to be done.

When are the yogi people coming ?

RAELL

Ingeborg, if you will forgive me,

I can't take you with me

or we would end up in a love affair.

So I'm going to take you to your room.

First thing in the morning I will contact you.

We'll figure something out for the situation.

Please try not to worry.

You're with me now.

INGEBORG

O really?

A love affair ?You are the Hollywood Producer aren't you.

RAELL

Wolf Rilla' s Movie, ha !?

INGEBORG

Good Night , Sir,

I had a very pleasant day.

Movie the novel by Wolf Rilla is one of my absolute favorites , ever.

RAELL

We have  a lot in common in that area.

35 CASTLE - Directors Room 2 - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT DAY

RAELL

I'm worried about you.

INGEBORG

I'm worried about me too.

RAELL

You will never be able to get that position now.

INGEBORG

No, I'm branded for life.

They play it through Court.

RAELL

So, it's official.

Many deals this day start with a track record.

INGEBORG

(sobs)

All the annual accounts are played through Court, officially.

RAELL

Annual Accounts makes no more sense when the sender is considered to be a ….

INGEBORG

Psychopath,

I know !

You are cutting right through me.

RAELL

Ingeborg I want you happy horny and whole today.

We have decided to give you the button for the flogiston launch.

And for the longer term…

Well, you should always know you can send me your job application too.

Matter of fact,

you're hired already.

INGEBORG

Well, I don't know what to say.

I've never been hired before.

I only worked as an independent artist.

There are always a lot of contracts involved.

And very rarely any money.

I do the fundraising my self.

RAELL

But you need partners.

INGEBORG

All I'm asking for.

RAELL

Real partners.

Not just some paperwork.

INGEBORG

Real partners.

Not just some paperwork.

RAELL

Did they ever send you around on seminars.

INGEBORG

O I've been invited over to a workshop or two.

And then they haunted me with business courses.

I didn't event an institution out of the blue.

RAELL

Where as your interest lies in the movie making.

INGEBORG

My interest has transitional things like theatre and graffiti.

No building builded needed.

I mean, I've got all the floors and the departments and Lord knows the research deserves to be celebrated.

But just a movie,

that would be enough.

Even though movies aren't transitional themselves they still are made up by transitional stuff.

Teaching also takes a lot of energy.

Because it's transitional.

Except for the blackboard.

RAELL

Eventually also the blackboard.

But,

as a matter of fact

what you really feel

is that you could retire.

INGEBORG

There is never any holiday.

I eat from my brother's fridge.

RAELL

Unemployed they call you.

INGEBORG

Technically yes.

But I'm thrown out of a financial arrangement.

Taken that to Court too.

RAELL

When was this?

INGEBORG

In 2008.

RAELL

Wait a minute .

This was when the banks crashed.

INGEBORG

And the economy going under. I know.

They scooped it at the lowest of incomes.

Ours was the advice to find it with Friends Fools and Family.

RAELL

It all endangers your project.

INGEBORG

Now how will they combine both documents in Court.

I stand no chance.

I'm stigmatized.

RAELL

My offer stands.

And now my dear we are going to coordinate your scene.

INGEBORG

All the patients should go out with their actors.

RAELL

To do what ?

INGEBORG

To look at the entrance of the yoga masters.

It's not obligatory of course.

But it should be presented as some event.

RAELL

Too glad the yogi people

have chosen to work with fashion designers.

They are all wearing flogiston capes.

INGEBORG

Great improvisation.

Couldn't have done it better myself.

With the offer of Raell in mind, Ingeborg starts to relax a bit. Soon energy is released and she dances around the monitors.

INGEBORG

Tell the catering staff that there will be a picnic outdoors. That will make them all come outside.

Can I have an overview of the premise.

RAELL

Over to Dr. Alexandra Van Giffen.

INGEBORG

My mother's name is Van Giffen.

It's a name connoting in Dutch history with professors and doctors and vicars since the sixteenth century.

Alexandra comes from my neighbor.

She is a Hannah Arendt look alike.

RAELL

Aha Hannah Arendt.

INGEBORG

Who wanted to end homo faber. The story boy.

RAELL

Probably seen enough of those.

INGEBORG

Hence the Epigenetic Hospital.

RAELL

Europe was different in the old days.

INGEBORG

Alexandra - my neighbor - was busy on that track. Organizing parties in the style of the nineteen thirties.

She showed up as a Charleston lady.

And we did ghost reading.

The spirit of the thirties reviving in our own dancing days.

RAELL

You are not so old, are you.

INGEBORG

O,

I'm on the wrong side of my forties.

And imagine the biological clock ticking while I was working on my enterprise.

But I never wanted a child that would have a life worse then mine.

Even if getting children these days is a way of money making.

RAELL

All that contemporary knowledge

next to your universal program.

You must have exploded a lot.

INGEBORG

Only inside my office.

Never on the streets.

I have the right to know what's inside of me.

And the project is a pretty tough job.

It's not like making love to the paper.

That's what I used to do

before I became a .. cultural entrepreneur .

I used to be a lover not a fighter.

RAELL

So that when the love becomes a fight ; it's over ?

INGEBORG

Yes.

I was a poet I sang for the muses

and then to do your finance..

Although I have to say ;

working with numbers was an absolute experience.

My mind went totally blank.

Actually it was amazing.

I just had the same experience;

even if these ware writings in legal format

I felt that there was no response.

RAELL

And then you'd drop your new interest.

Am I right ?

INGEBORG

May be. I'm a sniffer not a biter.

I haven't been enabled to turn it into a expertise.

I can't talk financial still.

RAELL

O come on. You can do that.

INGEBORG

Ok.

Well, if tax wise every new baby

is worth 4000 Euro per year

leaving the parents well off to organize healthy holidays ,

then can I deduct my case the other way around.

RAELL

(gruel s)

Ai, what a mean equation.

Subjected after bad will by the community because of sexual misproduction.

That sort of stuff.

INGEBORG

Yeah because the Law Artist Income project was not evolving.

RAELL

It's very fashionable today to stay completely silent.

Then if it's Court

It's You're the one paying

when you are loosing.

And when you are winning.

INGEBORG

Wow that sounds inspiring.

RAELL

You're the one doing this.

I live in peace.

But I love Court Cases.

INGEBORG

Well, after my experience: I don't.

They have the power to criminalize you.

And that feels very hard.

RAELL

Come come

I thought we talked that thing over.

Things like this happen you know.

INGEBORG

Right now it feels like it's

the only thing that's happening for real.

RAELL

That's why you run away .

Sometimes you have to run away.

And go somewhere where you will not be prosecuted.

As soon as you're out,

 you come to me.

Promised ?

INGEBORG

Promised.

RAELL

Don't worry about the train ticket…

INGEBORG

(blushes)

The yoga camps have packed up for the last time.

They will walk the last thousand meter to enter the camera tracking park.

I can't believe this is happening.

So here is the overview of the premise.

RAELL

Too bad they wouldn't have us build a glass tower on the tower. Cultural en-heritage and all that.

Now we have two balcony's with Alexandra van Giffen pacing back and forth to await the invasion and guide them to the blue room.

INGEBORG

Let's see what the patients are up to.

Oho still taken consultantancies and hanging around the kitchen and the TV.

May be I should go in and wrap it up.

RAELL

Want me to come with you.

INGEBORG claps in her hands of joy.

36 CASTLE - PATIENT DEPARTMENT / directors room 1 - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT DAY

PSYCHOLOGIST

So the problem is

the word comes from God

but we can name things like our dog also God.

Is that a summary of your concerns.

 MR. PSEUDONIUS

And

Vincent van Gogh was murdered.

ACTOR

Yeah you know there is even a story about that in Vanity Faire.

MR. GRAIDANUS

(to Raell )

Are you a junkie ?

ACTOR

(to Mr. Graidanus)

Yeah, or a monkey…

INGEBORG

(to Raell)

Don't worry.

He asks that to all the people.

(in general)

Why don't we pack our things and go outside ?

There is a picnic happening and we can all watch the entrance of the yogi masters.

Go go go

It's beautiful outside.

The ACTORS are packing up the CHAIRS and the TABLE to move them outside.

INGEBORG rushes alongside all the cells and chambers to stick her head around the corner .

INGEBORG

Au dehors il y a une picknick !

INGEBORG

Draußen gibt's ein Picknick !

INGEBORG works out the whole building with RAELL clowning around with her. They then run back to the DIRECTORS ROOM .

37 CASTLE - DIRECTORS ROOM1 - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT DAY

RAELL

Wow that was a dive.

INGEBORG

But look : it worked.

It's much more crowded now.

This connotes a bit with the adaptation to film of Tomas Mann's Magic Mountain.

Except for the gates of course.

They look very dramatic.

But that's what closed detention also means.

It's bound to be dramatic.

And then the camera on top.

Imagine the impact of that

on their individual conscience .

It's a tough workshop.

But hey, they're always under surveillance

24/7.

So they should work that out,

one way or another.

They have their personal assistants now.

I think it looks great.

If I had it my way

I'd edit it in sepia.

But that's impossible to combine with the lively yoga masters who will be captured by the widest angle imaginable , so one can see both the crowded mountain and the entrance. A Felinian shot. I love those.

RAELL

There are camera's inside the rally

we are also going to use.

But

that wide angle aspect also

was very useful information.

My angels knew immediately what to rent.

INGEBORG

Then I hope someone has not forgotten about the satellite shot ?

RAELL

It's ending in Alexandra van Giffen's 'skull'.

INGEBORG

Right.

Smashing into flogiston.

Proper introduction.

Alexandra is a character of little speech.

She's not just like us rambling the night away.

RAELL

It's very important for people to talk to each other emotionally.

It can't always be the typical

festival activity.

But yes Alexandra is a silent figure.

Look how's she is awaiting her moment to descend.

INGEBORG

She's beautiful.

I can see the yogi's coming.

She can go down now.

The Westerns and Africans are making a line up.

yet the Asians en the Eskimo's come in a group.

Aren't they stunning ?

RAELL

I've heard they've been asked to line up.

INGEBORG

Let's see what's happening.

They're lining up now.

That looks nicely drilled.

One tribute to the old building.

And a festival named Paraflow.

RAELL

Look the Maharaja is marching with them.

How nice,

 what a pleasant surprise.

INGEBORG

Will he make a

bend over backwards

in the blue room?

RAELL

Who knows..

We just have to continue watching.

Here's the Flogiston button.

You just have to press it and the signal will unload the flogiston.

Well well

they're going to make that camel posture

on an individual basis.

INGEBORG

It's better for the super surround ultra magnetic sound imagining track .

The first YOGI MASTER is making his CAMEL POSTURE. Right when the PELVIS has been breathed UPWARD , the CHIN is dangling backwards as the lowest point of the chest, while the BRAIN is urged to work with the endoskeleton, Ingeborg pushes the Flogiston Button.

INGEBORG

The two images overlap

and the body scan

becomes more subjective,

as if we experience the posture from the inside.

RAELL

It really works.

Congratulations.

INGEBORG

It's beautiful.

Oops. The next yogi is already coming up.

While INGEBORG is absorbed in watching the masters and their pupils and pushing the Flogiston button, Raell softly sneaks out, as the Festival Director is standing in front of the glass wall and gestures him to go outside.

38 CASTLE - HALLWAY TOWER - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT DAY

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

Should we make a big announcement tonight at the production party that our artist has been found ?

RAELL

She's ready for celebration in every vessel of her body, but under due circumstances …

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

What a weird coincidence that she arrived

in a participatory bus.

She must have the feeling

she's part of two worlds now.

RAELL

She's been arrested.

It's very serious matter.

For all I know rated after today's world standard

we are dealing with an outsider artist now.

It's sad but true.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

What do we do with the credits :

'With special thanks for'

or

'dedicated to' ?

RAELL

She should have been owner director.

If only Van Hessen had included her.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

Well, things are the way they are.

There is nothing we can do about it.

RAELL

I have invited her over to my castle.

She lives totally isolated

totally absorbed by work .

Maybe with a bit of basis

she will contact her friends again.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

Is that your plan with her?

RAELL

Maybe she can invite some friends to visit .

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

You are going to adopt her.

RAELL

I want to know what happened to this generation.

They took an effort

to take an interest in my culture

now it's my turn to have a look at theirs.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

She's lucky to have you.

RAELL

No I'm lucky to have her.

Think about all the translations she made.

And then she found her evidence :

DNA is a symbol for literature.

And then she founded her own university to celebrate artistically.

Mind you this is the work of a hard working genius

who's got her feet down right in interactive design.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

So, we will be busy repairing her reputation for the rest of our lives.

RAELL

I see no other option.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

May be Amnesty International.

RAELL

(giggles)

Did you talk to the doctors ?

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

She is not allowed to walk over.

But she will be promoted to the fourth department.

RAELL

Let me guess:

it's the open door department.

No more guided walks..

.. an open door policy.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

That's it.

RAELL

She'll be pacing

up and down to her studio

where the gas and electricity will be shut off

and where she was violated and traumatized.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

So much thank you of Holland to one of their most liberating source codes.

RAELL

The whole nation got liberated by the gnome code she reinterpreted.

Van Hessen has the power over the Dutch media.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

They own the digital corpus spoken Dutch.

RAELL

That's what I'm saying.

They are the absolute elite.

She was so brave to go work with them.

 FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

And so lucky to be selected.

RAELL

She was young then,

and upcoming and very very fresh I figure.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

It takes a lot of courage.

But then, that's what we expect from our artists.

RAELL

" Our " ?

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

The Festival's artists.

Mind you, we have exhibitions every month.

But yours was intense.

RAELL

Thank you.

We should talk sooner or later.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

I think you've said enough,

RAELL

What with this work ?

But this wasn't my voice.

I may have dreamt about it

This nightmare of the flogiston ejaculation..

But it never stuck to me.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

So here we go again.

Let's just create space for 1 more line in the credits

: " after the authorship of .. etc.etc."

RAELL

Simple as that.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

Shall we involve her in the post production ?

RAELL

Yeah, that would be a happy move.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

Well, I've got a plain to catch, so to speak.

RAELL

Speak to you later.

39 CASTLE - DIRECTORS ROOM 2 - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT DAY

INGEBORG

Look

they're taking initiative and doing different postures in the blue room.

It's breath taking.

I'm a little worried though about the duration of this part.

It would be perfect VJ material.

But for the movie

it might be a bit too long.

May be we can ask them to do a  group version as well ?

RAELL

You want a bend over backwards in the group ?

One moment please.

(phones)

Say Venus, hallo there. Can I come up with a suggestion, please. Ok. As soon as we are ready with the solo's, which are gorgeous by the way, we wondered what it would do, if the yogis made a group statement.

Which posture ? I don't know … Wait.

INGEBORG

(mouths)

It's The Camel posture.

RAEL.

Right, the camel posture. Right.

We would like them to focus on the group synchrony. Who knows bring a guiding teacher inside. So that we here can unload the flogiston simultaneously.

That's it. Good luck going.

INGEBORG

I always dreamed about doing business over the telephone.

RAELL

Well, if you 're an excluded member

I guess you will have little chance.

INGEBORG

I was doing great in lukewarm acquisition

but then the hotness was conceived in one woman performance. I couldn't conceive what it was for real to tell the Minister or the Secretary of the King that my program needed and deserved support.

RAELL

You practiced in the air.

There's no harm there.

Sounds if you have a pretty network.

INGEBORG

O I have been producing a workshop

with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

You have to sound concerned about the whole.

It's very academic work.

But in this case , I made a financial statement by sending in a Declaration.

I was very happy with it.

I made it

after the exact tax figure

of consolidation between businesses.

At least nine matrixes involved.

I validated my video archive.

RAELL

And nobody teaches you that at University.

INGEBORG

O no.

Well, there are always books at the flea market.

RAELL

You're a book worm !

INGEBORG

I wasn't always treated as one.

That's what the exchange delivered me:

lots of invitations to look at work.

And they would always put me on the guest list too.

Sometimes it's all I can feel - what if I could make a come-back.

My friends would be in the parts.

They might not want to collaborate with me.

And come up with something of their own.

Dance or Opera or something.

RAELL

It sounds on the edge of corrupt.

INGEBORG

Anarchy.

You deal with people who will never do what you want or say.

RAELL

I See: an artists business.

INGEBORG

But this time I came with some clear research based labour design.

For example : I want to combine dance and kinetic drawing á la The Bauhaus with couture drawing and fabrication so that the film section would be inspired and surprised by costumes.

RAELL

A whole different approach.

And you figured that if you have the money

dancers drawers and couturiers would get involved.

INGEBORG

Of course it's the trick to make them pay for the workshops.

But again I lacked a prototype.

RAELL

So, you put your ideas on strong water.

INGEBORG

I just can not abort.

Not yet.

Eventually it takes place though.

And it always involves terrible pain.

The pain of emptiness.

Although I do think

that the design space

can be out side of us,

somethings might be settling inside.

That would be memory speaking then.

And we all know what is the destiny of that.

RAELL

Dementia prae cox .

One has to keep one's memory fresh.

INGEBORG

If memory erasure  is the object of genocide…

RAELL

Yes, of course.

INGEBORG

…Then wouldn't you say we live in a constant little genocide most of our lives.

RAELL

Is it ?

INGEBORG

I send my research documents to my brother

who is after all keeping me alive.

But he can't stand the fact

that I'm Saying something outside everyday reality.

He starts shouting at me.

RAELL

It's all in the Family.

One is advised to walk away from them as far as possible, is one to lead one's own life.

Bring him over Ingeborg.

We're going to repair

all your broken relationships.

INGEBORG

I guess that when other people could see me now

they would be very jealous.

RAELL

Of course

But he can't see you now.

Nobody is ever watching you because you're too busy building your site.

Which is very dangerous.

I want to find and know the people that are responsible for you.

INGEBORG

O the professor wants me to pay for the promotion.

And also the Art World is really terrible with me.

I had this solo exhibition where they offered me a bottle of coke. Not even a passe partout. And that's considered very generous. After all, your name is in the program.

RAELL

And I would like to find out why that is so.

There is plenty of money in Amsterdam.

INGEBORG

But I'm not part of it.

RAELL

That's what you think.

INGEBORG

No that's what I know.

Raell, I have three maps filled with rejections.

And you know I can't lie about the configuration.

So, if the fund owner wants to know about ' the new audience'

I'm going to have to attract,

I tell them we're researching the basis of the gnosis, being the root of most 'new' audience.

RAELL

They'd rather have you do hip hop or vogue dance.

INGEBORG

May be, but that's not what this is.

RAELL

And it is what it is.

INGEBORG

It is what it is.

Of course here I doubt whether I can represent the project.  What do I know from the gnosis.. Just the stuff Durrell taught me and Harold Bloom.

RAELL

We could always invite guest speakers and writers.

INGEBORG

Still for me : this movie is strong enough a token of understanding.

RAELL

How is the Epigenetic Hospital.

INGEBORG

Lovely, everybody in their own velocity.

Germany has the least of pure neurotic beings.

Holland has the most psychedelic victims.

France a lot of muslims.

Luxembourg is full of alcoholic housewives.

RAELL

Let's report that to the European Union.

INGEBORG

O no ! I was only widely guessing.

I was just observing the footage.

Is a report to the European Union included ?

Can I help editing ?

I love subsidiary proposals.

Especially the post production reports.

RAELL

Why don't we let Ingeborg play her own post production.

INGEBORG

You mean my one thread, right ?

Let's see : it would be Japke, my office,  my pictures, my brother's house, the club, my weed, the police, the hospital and then arranging a ride to my paper coming alive.

RAELL

It should make the officer smile.

INGEBORG

I'd always liked to enter the European Union through the backdoor of it's cultural arrangements.

RAELL

Yeah, were you interested in that ?

INGEBORG

Independent International Cultural Exchange

is the basis of my foundation.

RAELL

So you have a foundation , ha ?!

INGEBORG

IICE

Independent International Cultural Exchange;

Foundation for the human senses

Ingeborg's Intimate Cultural Experience;

One woman business affairs in the arts.

RAELL

Well, nice to meet you.

Looking forward to do business.

INGEBORG

I never did any business.

I only walked after the board members their signatures , wrote letters on their behalf, delivered the statutes at the notary, as well as the subsidiary requests and had to pay for the registration.

Which I couldn't.

RAELL

Another case of exploitation.

INGEBORG

They made it seem it was the other way around.

RAELL

I sense a new trauma.

INGEBORG

I'm full of them.

On this side.

RAELL

Well, you are with me now;

let go off the past.

INGEBORG

It's so hard to let everything go.

RAELL

Trust your self.

It will come back.

You can always register a new foundation.

And start with fresh people.

If that's what you want.

But maybe you want to do nothing for a while.

Walk around in nature.

INGEBORG

( crying)

Fourteen years

of deconstruction!

It started with my favorite :

a science fiction

and then the burden of deconstruction.

Political awareness

by the whole news department.

And then the guess that - just the guess -

I became part of that.

RAELL

It's all horribly tense.

But not all the time.

INGEBORG

I have to stay concentrated

to sprinkle the stardust of flogiston.

RAELL

Thank you Ingeborg

for being here.

INGEBORG

Thank you Raell

for being here.

It is indescribable to be here.

RAELL

 I can imagine.

INGEBORG

You know

The Epigenetic Hospital

isn't that fantastic.

It happens in real life

for hospitals to have media productions.

My first TV station was in a hospital.

RAELL

Ingeborg,

You're scripts are without doubt

absolutely fabulous.

We just might have to work on the executive level.

INGEBORG

I don't think I'm strong enough.

RAELL

Ingeborg, it isn't wrong or weak or bad to cry.

INGEBORG

I wished more people cried.

RAELL

You know

I'm going to have to

make you my wife,

don't you ..

INGEBORG

O I'm familiar

with the economic exchange

marriages in the East

consists of.

RAELL

Durrell again, ha ?!

Good girl.

There is nothing to be afraid of.

If you want  :

it doesn't have to be consumed.

INGEBORG

But we're consuming it already, aren't we .

RAELL

Longest talk show ever.

INGEBORG

I could go on forever.

RAELL

O no you can't.

But that's when it becomes interesting.

INGEBORG

There are many borders.

I'm always afraid of making mistakes .

What if I would call myself a professional dreamer.

They'd laugh at me in Tibet.

The yoga masters are making their groups statement.

RAELL

Your last Flogiston arousal.

INGEBORG

I'm speechless with gratitude.

RAELL

See.

Now we just have to see you through the end production party.

INGEBORG

Will Van Hessen fly over ?

RAELL

Of course : the sponsors will be here.

 INGEBORG

Well, I just will be smiling and waving.

RAELL

We'll see about that.

INGEBORG

Are you going to introduce us ?

RAELL

I think he knows you already.

INGEBORG

I have the feeling that he doesn't remember faces.

RAELL

He could be like that, ha?

INGEBORG

Well, we'll see it tonight.

40 CASTLE - CENTRAL HALL - MUSEUM PLATZ 2  VIENNA - EXT NIGHT

Doctors , nurses, patients, actors, the yogi people with the Maharaja, Raell's Angels and the festival staff are all walking criss cross.

MS. SUN JO

( to Raell )

The medication makes me drool.

MR. PSEUDONYMOUS

(wraps his arm around her)

She's severely suffering from Drooleritus type B.

And she doesn't like to be named Dirty Poop Chinese.

MS. SUN JO

Stop it !

They want my blood samples too.

I can't give permission for that.

RAELL

Of course you can't my dear.

Will you excuse me, please ?

The FESTIVAL DIRECTOR  - who is on a stage - waves at Raell.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

We'd like to welcome

our corporate financiers

and executive producer.

Just flown in from Twente University :

Mr. van Hessen.

And in our midst

for the last few days: Raell.

Edited pictures of the yoga masters are being projected , so as to enlighten the celebration. RAELL walks to the front.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

Ladies and Gentlemen ,

What if

it doesn't disappear

just like that.

Imagine having a voice or a mind

you almost can not hear.

Now that's kind of a of hell :

when the voice is too soft.

Your ignoring it still takes extra energy

- even if you can't hear anything

there is still noise -

and you are the only one

experiencing this.

You have asked people around you

to come and tape the music around you

but they didn't feel invited to help you out.

So now the question is:

can you hear the universe also singing

or have I been through a portal and unable to function for the rest of my life.

A medical report is very serious.

And I thank - well Bach - that my mind is still mine.

And that we over the years have indulged in all sorts of psychedelic art.

There is an LSD using composer plucking his work from the universe.

But, a portal that's what science can not believe in.

Probably because he's never been there.

But I can't tell that

because I've never met one.

So it isn't true.

Portals are true

but scientists who believe in them

also.

I haven't met one yet

bit it still might happen.

We are happy to have hosted the Epigenetic Hospital

where the psyche is merely a myth of literature

and she should be grateful to that.

We are convinced that the workshops have attributed

to the process of the participants.

The actors being asked to ping pong with semantic load,

detecting some sort of story in their fellow partners.

The patients in letting themselves being participated upon.

We often had to think of the master mind behind this approach .

For the second time

I'd like to call for the stage : RAELL.

 RAELL

I am wide awake..

VAN HESSEN

My interest lies in chemistry.

What happens if one cell invades the other.

And how one can translate this into models of communication .

In other words :

I am interested in genetic manipulation.

From both sides.

Ours is a feisty little nation where people bite themselves into most of the times scientific knowledge

for which the industry is held accountable.

The Industry from her turn

has the obligation to work with the best of these ideas.

And here's where the battle begins.

Fusions between the universities are being requested, years of education absorbed, algorithms actually implanted. The script encoded. Meanwhile, let's not forget our official trajectory of Showroom Union and finally a Fund.

In this exchange we carefully watch what kind of humans we have attracted. Scans in all seizes are being projected and read. Meanwhile the other side comes up with : surveillance as an catalyst in emotions.

So who's behavior is this ?

A DATA PROJECTOR projects images on yet another huge screen. We see INGEBORG screaming in the computers microphone.

INGEBORG

(screaming)

I know you can hear me..

I hate the game theory

I hate games

I hate them.

Life is not a game.

You have murdered me, murdered me.

The DOCTORS look satisfied.

DOCTOR

See ?

RAELL

(on the stage)

Well spoken , my friend.

We have worked very hard on transparency

and I think you like to show yourself through the work that has begotten your life.

It's a confusing mixture.

And that is what has your interest.

Mind you,

there are images of you your self that are quite outspoken.

But I'm not here to put oil on the fire.

We have the obligation to protect and guide our workshop members.

And we will continue to do so.

Things change however when we close our eyes to android life.

There is so little we know about working within a computer network.

The Dutch recently have been outspoken on surveillance.

Their's was one of the first nations were tapping was allowed, apart from earlier the East Block of course.

Many of these hard decisions were made for them by activists of all kinds.

But one work stood at the heart of it:

Diagram The Speech in Space Scenario Science Fiction Karaoke

by Ingeborg Houwen.

The story was premiering 10 days before 9/11 and ever since was used by the dominant culture where the dystopian study very discretely makes fun off.

Nevertheless , we leave Planet Urrth and find our happiness elsewhere concentrating on software and seeking to aspire to improve it.

When Ingeborg Houwen continued with the Smart Microphone and Diagram Sci Fi Karaoke 2 no one would have suspected the depth of her insights, the structure of her deliverance.

There was one essay which she wrote on request of the Sustainability group in Malta.

And she comes up with a preface in where she exactly explains what she had become: an artificial memory with a happy experience in closed circuit writing and an unhappy one in open source .

Can we even imagine what state that must be ? Imagine to walk around like an artificial memory.

That's hard work, keeping the boxes closed and opening them when it's requested.

Having 11 balls in the air.

But this is only the beginning .

May I recite:

" We all know philosophy is dead, every now and then. But to freeze the movement of the mind 'Thought itself' in a universal code for time and space with all the stuff-of-experience wrapped all over and in between, usually, in general, ("historically") means a declaration of 'war' to the free wandering spirit of mind. "

This girl worries about the movements of our minds and the freedom we have in there.

I also often worry about that too.

You can't expect every body to follow the vague side of an English novel, and sound like a film character

; F

our personal velocity.

very much needs our attention.

And Ingeborg draw it to that.

Shouldn't she be thanked for that, one way or another.

Not over the Internet. Where the proposal was send by invitation and not by assignment. This according to the UInion, her 'partner' there. It must have been an honor , again, but the author was trying to run a business, too. So she send an Invoice and asked for a Prophet Fee.

Which is kind of humorous , if you ask me.

Why is it, that a full essay with at least 18 accords that with each word pushes us further into the present; the questions we are now, doesn't get the celebration it deserves. A plain ticket , a glass of champagne, some dinner reservations. It doesn't happen every day, you know, that somebody surveys the borderlines of dichotomies and presents us an actual overview .

Nor does it happen everyday that a workshop concept for Paleontology  & Performance results in the production we are in today.

Ladies and Gentlemen, although the Maharaja deserves a standing ovation, I'd like to welcome to the stage: Ingeborg Houwen.

INGEBORG

wow I mean woo h.

I haven't written the great gothic novel .

The great gothic novel where man seeks to make an artificial version of himself

- Frankenstein -

was written by a novelist

named Godwin of her maiden self.

Mary - widow of Shelly - Godwin wrote Frankenstein.

And to remind us of that

I dedicated program particles

for animation makers to be inspired

to make animations on horror in literature :

Godwin the leader workshop.

In these program particles I come up with three geometrical propositions, so as to stay close to the productions in - and output. After all, we are making a movie together.

RAELL

We are and so it wasn't the purpose of Godwin to start a discussion on the Islam, again.

Which is how the keyword proceeded.

VAN HESSEN

We pipetted the noun from the - who knows educational  - body, and leaned it in to the discussion in parliament..

That's what we do, our faculty is named Parlevink.

But I'm not a nursery.

I can't put her in front of my students.

This lady is driven by greed.

She wants to make a movie and everything has to be subordinated to that.

RAELL

Since when do we see greed in creative promotions ?

What's wrong with bringing a responsive college ?

What's wrong with considering interaction designs ?

What's wrong with working with an artist ?

Especially when she has an academic degree.

VAN HESSEN

Theatre Science.

Not exactly mathematics or physics.

INGEBORG

But when I was publishing a fictional feuilleton at the Universities weekly newspaper, fresh doctors gave me their dissertations as they figured that the writing of literature implies both math and physics.

That is the secret of it.

RAELL

She's a little book worm .

And I bet you she knows what E=MC2

means.

INGEBORG

All alone, I clone myself.

RAELL

That's right.

We often forget about that.

C square

contains the mystery.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

Well, I can see you two

and may be three

have a lot to discover in each other.

INGEBORG

The program is finite.

It just has to be unleashed.

RAELL

And therewith the thereafter is touchable.

We'll see it through.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

I See

You two look happy together.

And now Ladies en Gentlemen

there will be a viewing of our movie

edited in the first draft.

The crowd , that had begotten quite animated and loud, once more is silenced when the lights go out and the space is dark and a film wheel rallies to project the movie.

FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

There will be first the artistic interpretation - which is diegetic sound and a group statement of the Yogi Masters. This of course with the Flogiston ejaculation.

Then there will be a version with non diegetic sound and individual statements in the blue room with Flogiston ejaculations.

RAELL

( whispering )

I like that word.

INGEBORG

What : ejaculation ?

RAELL

( giggles )

Yes.

INGEBORG

I never know about the male sexual orgasm.

Sometimes it feels like it's a lot of work.

RAELL

Sex is a miracle , Ingeborg.

INGEBORG

I'm so glad he didn't deny me.

RAELL

What ? Van Hessen ?

INGEBORG

Yes.

He could have denied everything.

One time he send me a letter that wouldn't be printed.

RAELL

Ah, invisible ink.

A classic way to con.

Well, he really doesn't like you.

But true: at least he opened up.

I figure you will stop communicating now.

INGEBORG

Well, he's a board member of the Fund.

But I still would like to work on the Upperfloor.

RAELL

The computer program exhibition.

You can do that anywhere.

INGEBORG

No you can't.

I've got a Declaration of Intent by the Centre.

RAELL

Which Centre again ?

INGEBORG

The Linguistic - And Speech Technology Centre.

Their's is the one world wonder that actually does exist.

You can now order your telephone to do business for you.

RAELL

You really truly believe in Speech recognition.

INGEBORG

O yes.

It's true : they can change visual sounds into the alphabet and back again into an artificial voice.

And that is a Miracle.

No, it's very hard work.

Point is : they exclude the human body from their research. Hence the yoga thriller.

But anyway,

I found this one literary essay

I had been writing and publishing ,

that was written with a mathematical title .

A geometrically formula

, drawing a short collapsing and recovering line,

travels 4 coordinates in an emotional matrix;

swings from two moods in the right of the positive side to two moods in the left of the negative;

measured from the zero point where the axes of space and time (happen to) meet in a young living subject falling together with the author , of the story that was composed and performed in its intended use of media (words), summer 1995.

f(x) = x2 - 2

A Valley Parabole in Words.

RAELL

Nice material.

Obviously it would be interesting for audio transcription considering the research you worked on.

Is it well narrated?

INGEBORG

It starred in an independent magazine for literature.

RAELL

What's happening in the story?

INGEBORG

O,

not much.

It's sub-titled :

before after and during the work.

And we see the author just being graduated and poor and hungry at home, lifting her shirt at an exhibition, waking up with the artist, fulminating at public transport , arriving at her destination : of an old lady who's house she needs to clean to obtain money, and finally to reunite with her pussycat analyzing her future by reading a Diesel fashion picture.

I wrote another mathematical formula ..

f (x) = xN + x f

And the question was :

what if this was the same author and the same mathematical formula just highly expanded : from a cosy little life of an unemployed post graduate into the industrial standards

of a formula concerned with

all human experience ( F)

in a world where all is said (N).

What will happen to our line if the two formula's become connected.

And how will this be translated into the human story. How can it be recognizable.

Eventually the class is held to render material into the movie. This Godwin class will be making the lead of it.

RAELL

Ok.

But,  nothing happened.

Well, Lawrence Durrell wasn't accepted at Oxford.

INGEBORG

I know.

RAELL

Einstein wasn't accepted at Bern.

When you are with me, you should also look around in Switzerland.

INGEBORG

Raell ?

RAELL

Yes?

INGEBORG

Where will our story end ?

RAELL

Just where every story ends:

when everything has been said twice.

THE END
